Visiting Scholars

The Aquinas Visiting Scholar Program invites scholars from around the world to spend a period of time in research and writing, conference participation and public lecturing at the Dominican Institute of Toronto. The Faculty of Theology of the University of St. Michael’s College or the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies provides the academic home for the AVS. Scholars’ academic work is greatly enhanced by the community of learning and teaching and the research facilities at the Kelly Library and the wider University of Toronto library system.

Toronto is the fourth largest city in North America and one of the most culturally and religiously diverse cities in the world. Its cultural and artistic offerings make Toronto an international destination. Recently the Economist rated Toronto as the best place in the world to live.
